Prior to first lesson

Before your first lesson with KBDS you will require the following:

​

  • Provisional Licence

​

  • Be able to read a licence plate from     20 metres

​

  • Comfortable footwear, something like a Converse trainer to ensure you can feel the pedals

​

KBDS will complete a licence check through the GOV.uk website and hold this information until you complete your practical driving test.

​

We offer flexible lessons, which include pick up and drop off at a destination of your choice.  Multi payment options available, please see below:

Lesson length - 1 hour, 90 minutes or

2 hours available.

​

  • Payment must be received prior to the start of the lesson.

  • Payment options: cash or bank transfer.

Single or Multi Lessons available

About Your Lessons

  • Whatever length of lesson you choose one hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours, it will always be one-to-one tuition.

​

  • Complete beginners start with a 90 minute lesson, increasing to two hours when your driving skills increase and you are ready to move to busier roads.​

​

  • You will learn to drive independently using road signs and Satellite Navigation.

​

Theory and Hazard Perception Preparation

Prior to applying for your practical driving test, you will need to pass a Theory and Hazard Perception test.  To study for this you will need an up-to-date copy of the Department of Transport:

  • Highway Code

  • Know your signs

  • DVD/apps giving example DVSA questions and Computer Generated videos for the Hazard Perception element.

Manual Gear Car

We teach you to drive in a Mini Cooper. Features include:
